Hello Dead Cells community, I'm a new-ish player who just got to Dracula's Castle. Can someone please tell me how tf do I get up here? I don't have the spider rune in this run yet, I didn't know it was needed how tf do I get up there???

I can't get to it through double jump dammit. I don't have the ram rune either.

I love Castlevania. Sadly, with how it's publisher is like, the only way to get good Castlevania games now is with a different. Like having the Dead Cells' developer Motion Twin creating a Castlevania DLC. Best chance for more awesome Castlevania is playing someone's else game. Oh well. But Dead Cells is great too. Having made it to the Dracula dialogue in Dead Cells, I love several things about it.

Prisoner still has no voice grunts, meaning Dracula is reading Prisoner's internal monologue somehow- not implausible, he is Dracula.

This apparently does not throw Prisoner, who is used to not being able to talk to people

He is THAT offended by Richter being imprisoned. he does not know who Richter is and keeps referring to him as "that blue guy" but he is furious that Dracula would imprison someone "worth saving" like that (hm, Prisoner, do you have some predictable and obvious trauma considering how many of the level flavortext talk in significant detail about prison brutality?)

Prisoner remarks he does not see himself as "much of a human anymore" suggesting he sees himself as formerly human, which makes his soliloquy in the sewers a little bit sadder.

It's very funny that Prisoner is pretty consistently shorter than any non-child humanoid he meets. I don't think he's actually under 5ft as depicted by the Everyone Is Here update, but the guy's definitely rather compact. Which makes Dracula's comment of "pick on someone your own size, or slightly bigger," when he's siccing an Elite on you very funny.

Most important bit of info about the latest Dead Cells DLC:

There are a ghostly princess and an undead wizard and they’re in love your honour. couldn't find any documentation on how many cells you get from boss rush, so i worked it out myself! (to the best of my abilities anyway lol, also if this info is out there already then i must have missed it in my search 😅 sorry)

quick note: this might not be 100% accurate, since i mostly used math instead of fighting every boss 6 times lol. but i definitely gathered enough data to find a consistent pattern, so if these numbers are off at all, they should at least be VERY close, and at least 0bc and 5bc are definitely correct.

so, here's the numbers for each difficulty!

Concierge: 24 / 25 / 26 / 27 / 28 / 30

Conjunctivius: 40 / 42 / 44 / 46 / 48 / 50

Mama Tick: 32 / 33 / 35 / 36 / 38 / 40

Death: 80 / 84 / 88 / 92 / 96 / 100

Time Keeper: 40 / 42 / 44 / 46 / 48 / 50

Giant: 60 / 63 / 66 / 69 / 72 / 75

Scarecrow: 50 / 52 / 55 / 57 / 60 / 62

Dracula: 80 / 84 / 88 / 92 / 96 / 100

Hand of the King: 80 / 84 / 88 / 92 / 96 / 100

Servants: 47 / 49 / 51 / 54 / 56 / 60

Queen: 80 / 84 / 88 / 92 / 96 / 100

Dracula Final Form: 40 on all difficulties

ALSO: you don't get any more cells than normal from modified bosses or flawless wins. the 4 trials give the same amount as DIY mode, so there's no bonus there as far as cells go.
